Pablo Lincura

Visual artist

Currently living and working in China.

Graduated from Universidad de Chile, majoring Oil Painting, Master’s Degree in Art History at China Academy of Art.

My work, mostly, have been oil painting, and basically, involves human figure and another topics, using vivid and brilliant colors, false perspectives, and decorative elements. I like to work with pop culture symbols, sometimes taking some aspects of the Latin American aesthetic, or another cultures trying to get a sensation of exoticism. I try to makes some visual reflexions about the relationship between gender, sexuality, marginality and beauty.
